Incubo tells of a child named ADAM who had no memories of his childhood, he was found on the coast by an orphanage servant and grew up there.

After growing up, Adam married a woman and had a daughter. Then one time Adam, his wife and child had a car accident. His wife and child suffered minor injuries, but Adam was seriously injured and went into a coma.

Incubo讲述了一个叫ADAM的孩子，他对自己的童年没有任何记忆，他在海边被孤儿院的一个仆人发现，并在那里长大。

长大后，亚当娶了一个女人，生了一个女儿。有一次亚当和他的妻子孩子出了车祸。他的妻子和孩子受了轻伤，但亚当受了重伤，陷入了昏迷。

In a coma, Adam dreamed about himself about his childhood that he could not remember (because of the psychological and past pressure that was so heavy that he subconsciously recalled his subconscious blocking the memory). in a dream, Adam has a biological mother and stepfather. (in reality, this father was Adam's stepfather when he was a child, but in this dream the figure of his stepfather took the form of adult Adam)

His stepfather was someone who often tortured Adam. One time Adam and his family sailed by cruise ship and there he was driven by his father from the ship. it makes it coma and goes into a deeper dream (dream inside a dream phenomenon)

在昏迷中，亚当梦到了他自己，梦到了他不记得的童年(因为心理和过去的压力太大，他下意识地回忆起了他潜意识里阻止记忆的事情)。在梦中，亚当有生母和继父。(事实上，这个父亲在亚当小时候是他的继父，但是在这个梦里，他继父的形象变成了成年的亚当)

This is where the Incubo Game began. Adam who was trapped in his deepest dream (Limbo) was confused where he was and had to face creepy creatures (this is because Adam, who was in reality was a lecturer and writer of horror novels, so the characters in his story appeared in this dream)

In this deepest dream (LIMBO), Adam gets fake pieces of memory combined from 2 realms above him (dream world 1 and real world). at Limbo, Adam got a memory that his stepfather had a daughter and had an accident that resulted in his first wife and daughter dying before remarrying his mother. (this is "false memory", because actually the accident story is a story of him in the real world where Adam is in a coma and his wife's wife survives)

After going through various obstacles, Adam finally regained consciousness on the coast, but actually he was still in the dream (False Awakening). here Adam is told to be saved by an orphanage servant in a state of memory loss (medically a person who has been in a coma mostly does not remember his dream in detail and only feels a nightmare. "Incubo" = a nightmare in Italian). this is a memory that is in accordance with the reality / reality where Adam was also saved at the beach as a child, so Adam felt this was very real and did not realize that he was still in a dream (False Awakening).

in this dream everything goes on like in the real world until an accident happens. Here Adam adult loses his wife and child (like a piece of memory about his stepfather at LIMBO). hit by this situation, adult Adam became a drunkard and gambled before finally meeting a woman who had a son (This is the biological mother of Adam and little Adam)

After getting married for a while, adult Adam always remembered and missed his daughter and began torturing little Adam because he remembered her daughter. once when they were on Adam's adult yacht pushing a small Adam into the sea. after pushing the little Adam, the adult Adam was unconscious and his memory repeated into a small Adam when he met his stepfather (ie Adult Adam), then finally fell back into the sea, entered limbo, out of limbo, became an adult Adam, pushed a small Adam and so on.

This "loop" keeps repeating because Adam's consciousness was fooled by False Awakening and caused Adam to not be able to get out of the Coma and return to the Realm. Until finally one day because of frequent loops, adult Adam wanted to push the little Adam to experience dejavu and remember at a glance all that had happened in the dream and Limbo (from pushing a small Adam, entering Limbo, and everything except memory in real Nature). because Adam was an adult and little Adam was the same then little Adam also experienced the dejavu and began to suspect that he (little Adam) and his father (adult Adam) were the same person. because they began to realize the weirdness and began to think that maybe they were still in a dreamland, the dream world began to falter and collapse, the sky collapsed and darkness began to envelop. when chaos happened a small stone hit Adam's cheek was small and scratched, then in adult Adam also appeared a scar on his cheek. this ensures that they are the same person and are still in a dream. this incident made them experience the phenomenon of "Astral Projection" which is the spirit coming out of the body and them as the spirit saw Adam's body in the real world being coma in the hospital and connected with a respiratory aid.

A moment later they returned to their dreamland and they had to find the true memory to get out of the dream and return to the real world (awakened from the Comma). End, continued to Incubo 2
